In order to make data entry easier, we created batches of what we call support items – like places, language names and organizations. We based the selection on Wikidata, below you can see what sort of items have been created this way. This is to avoid the annoying situation where you need something a geographical place when describing your event but it's missing and you get distracted by having to create it.
The Wikimedia movement
The links go to Wikidata queries federated with Metabase so you can see both the Wikidata item and the corresponding Metabase item.

Organizations
There are a lot of GLAMs and other content partners out there (and in Wikidata), and here they tend to be created ad-hoc, when need arises. We did however identify some potentially useful Wikidata batches that were mass-created. By "potentially useful" we mean there's a non-zero probability some sort of collaboration project involving the institution has been done by the Wikimedia movement, so these items might come to use.
