Example of a session
Hi there! As an example of a session item I created GLAM Global Community (Q24148). Note how the item uses the "symmetry" of has part(s) (P35)/part of (P17). -- Andreas Kettelhoit (WMSE) (talk) 12:41, 12 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Andreas Kettelhoit (WMSE), thanks for this! Do I understand it correctly that the session/events items should use that symmetry? I am a bit new to data modelling so tips and advice are much appreciated. MichellevL (WMNL) (talk) 10:21, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Michelle! You got it absolutely right! We're not trying to overuse symmetries, but between conferences and sessions we've found it useful. I created items for three sessions of GLAM Global meetup (Q24141). The opening session doesn't have enough info to be notable.
- The items GLAM Wiki 2023 (Q22660) and WikiConference North America 2016 (Q23481), and it's connected session items, can give some tips. And of course, we are here to answer any questions you have. -- Andreas Kettelhoit (WMSE) (talk) 11:14, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
